School Competitions – arranged by the school council for the students of our school!
As you know lots of our community gatherings have been cancelled this year to keep us all safe.
However, we would still like to join in the fun and celebrate!
This year we are holding some art work competitions for BONFIRE NIGHT and REMEMBRANCE.
All you have to do is get creative, this can be a family effort or individual and you can go as big or as small as you wish – all we ask is that it is a form of art!
All entries will be judged by the school council and winners will be announced in school and on the blog.
Bonfire Night Deadline 5th November and winners announced on the 12th.
Remembrance Deadline 11th November and winners announced on the 19th.
All entries to be sent to [email protected]
We can’t wait to see what you come up with – good luck and thank you 🙂
Here are some ideas to help you get started!
Last night and this morning a group of us were working hard to pack up some final boxes ready for collection today. In total, as a school, we have managed to pack, fill and send 79 boxes as well as raising £140 to help towards shipping costs! I was overwhelmed with the amount of donations from our school community and would like to personally thank everyone involved. Our local organisers were also incredibly impressed with the efforts at Green Top and have asked me to pass one their special thanks.
Thank you for all your generous donations to date – we are still welcoming donations as our collection date has been extended to the 21st November 2019!
For more information see below or click here to visit the Operation Christmas Child‘s Website. If you would also wish to donate £1 towards the shipping of these boxes it will be very gratefully received.
