Today, we need to go further, because according to SAGE [the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies] it looks as though we’re now approaching the fast growth part of the upward curve.
And without drastic action, cases could double every 5 or 6 days.
So, first, we need to ask you to ensure that if you or anyone in your household has one of those two symptoms, (the high temperature OR a new and continuous cough) then you should stay at home for fourteen days.
That means that if possible you should not go out even to buy food or essentials, other than for exercise, and in that case at a safe distance from others. If necessary, you should ask for help from others for your daily necessities. And if that is not possible, then you should do what you can to limit your social contact when you leave the house to get supplies.
And even if you don’t have symptoms and if no one in your household has symptoms, there is more that we need you to do now.
Thank you for your continued vigilance and support at this uncertain time

Class 8 have been making a cuboid today with 12 straws to investigate different 3D shape properties. Everyone was really focused and tried really hard to build their cuboids. Well done everyone!
We had a great time at Crucial Crew learning all about how to be safe and responsible in our community.
Year 3 are always practising their times tables in class but it would be great if you could help at home.
All children have a TTRockstars log in which gives them access to lots of times table games where they can collect coins to build their own rock star. We will be holding different rock battles each week with prizes for the winning teams. There will also be certificates awarded in Phase Crew on Tuesday mornings.
We have also been using Supermovers which the children have really enjoyed. Click here to access the Supermovers videos.
There are lots of other games available online to help with times tables.
Class 9 had great fun on Friday using different modelling materials to try and make different 3D shapes.
In English, we are looking at re-telling the story Journey by Aaron Becker. We use a story map to help us remember the first part and added actions to help us remember the words.
Can anybody remember all the words and actions tomorrow?
Well done to our house point winners – remember to keep updating your charts to help your team!!
