Today in Expedition, Crew Walton worked collaboratively to compare and contrast periods in History and present day. I am proud of the Compassion shown and the Craftsmanship and Quality demonstrated in their written work!
In G Block today, class 12 have been learning about the history of Remembrance Day and the understanding. They have produced some beautiful writing on the poem, ‘ In Flanders Fields’ Below is some examples.
A huge well done goes to our very kind and caring Ava, who was so enthralled by our recent work with local care homes that she has encouraged her family to get involved too. At the weekend, Ava went back to visit the care home with her family to spread some Christmas cheer and she was gifted this lovely card made and signed by the residents there. Well done, Ava – what a superstar carer you are. We are all very proud of your kindness and compassion – just what Christmas is all about!
In G Block today reception have been using broccoli to paint autumn pictures, they were all awesome! I’m really proud of each and everyone of them! 😊
A huge well done to Pandora who created a beautiful piece of art which links to our Expedition! The time, effort and patience taken is phenomenal!
Well done Oliver for working incredibly hard to produce this home learning. It contains some really useful information about Brazil which links nicely to our current Expedition!
To support our learning about helping our local communities, some of Class 7 enjoyed a visit to Harry Priestley House which cares for adults with learning disabilities. The children made cards and pictures for the residents and sang our crew song, The Climb. The residents were thrilled to meet the children and we hope to visit again soon. Well done boys and girls, we are so proud of our little superheroes!
