The children have loved making their own Reindeer food this afternoon with Miss Myers. The children carefully mixed their oats, glitter and corn then decorated their packet to look like a reindeer. We hope the children love sprinkling this in their garden on Christmas Eve.
Nursery Family Learning
Sending a huge thank you to all those who joined us for our Christmas craft family learning this morning. We hope you enjoyed all of the activities we had on offer. I know the children and nursery staff all loved it and were buzzing with sugar after eating those delicious ‘christmas party biscuits’.
Reception Family Learning
We had a super afternoon making Christmas crafts and decorations for our family learning session.
Thanks so much to all of the grown ups who came and embraced the activities and helped your little ones enjoy!
We had so much fun, we hope you did too!
Thanks again

EYFS PANTO Treat
A big thanks to the Friends of Green Top who raised enough money for us to have a little festive treat this afternoon of the Snow White panto coming in to school.
The children all absolutely loved it and enjoyed engaging with all of the classic pantomime fun!
Nursery – Family Learning & thank you East Riding Christmas Trees!
A big thank you to East Riding Christmas Trees who have donated a large selection of Christmas tree cuttings for our Nursery Christmas craft family learning next week.
A reminder that family learning in Nursery is on Wednesday 4th December 9-10am.
We hope as many parents and carers can join us for what will be a fun filled morning.
Wonderful maths work in Nursery
The children have been working really hard in maths this week. We have been consolidating our learning of identifying and representing numbers 1-5. Here are some children using loose parts to touch count to 5.
I wonder…
Can you practise writing numbers 1-5 at home?
Can you find 1 – 5 objects?
Can you order number 1 -5 with a grown up?
Please send any additional work to Mrs Hay or Mrs Burton or email to [email protected]
Happy learning!

Nursery – It’s beginning to look at lot like Christmas…
The children have been so excited this week and the Christmas magic seems to be in the air already. We have enjoyed rummaging through the Christmas storage boxes and putting up a few decorations and trying on some nativity costumes.
