What a lovely Crew session we have had today! Class 7 were lucky to have some Year 5 maths teachers help them learn in a fun way! We certainly enjoyed it. Massive thanks to Class 14 for all your teaching 🙂
Thanks to Edward from Y6 who read to Y5 this afternoon in support of National Story Telling Week and Read Aloud Day…we loved hearing all about Ada Lovelace!
Today in Expedition, Crew Walton worked collaboratively to compare and contrast periods in History and present day. I am proud of the Compassion shown and the Craftsmanship and Quality demonstrated in their written work!
Class 7 were lucky to have April read to them at the end of the day today. She read brilliantly about Michael Jordan and how he became one of the greatest sportsmen ever! Thanks for such an inspiring story, April! 🙂
Year 5 have worked their socks off this week! We have completed Science experiments, immersion activities, artwork, Reading lessons and Maths! We have learned lots whilst having fun…Hook Week completed!
We are working extremely hard in Year 5, researching, planning and preparing our Lecture slides and scripts! We cannot wait to entertain our adults on the evening of Wednesday 4th December!
In Year 5, we built on our existing knowledge of Hinduism to focus on Darma, Karma and Reincarnation. We really enjoyed creating our own Darma symbols and held some really in-depth discussions about karma, the meaning and how we can adapt these beliefs into every day life to be the best versions of ourselves!
