Class 3 went on a treasure hunt to find Little Red Riding Hood’s basket of fruit to launch our new story in literacy. We had such fun following the clues! Little Red even said we could eat her fruit. Thank you Little Red!
The children in Class 3 worked their socks off today in phonics when learning how to read and spell the Phase 2 tricky word ‘the’. Well done to you all! I’m so proud of you!

The children from Class 4 really enjoyed making the bunting that will be displayed throughout Thorne for the bike race that is taking place on Friday 27th September. The children all listened carefully and produced some beautiful ideas.

The children had a wonderful afternoon in the sunshine after discovering sounds in phonics using instruments we then discovered that these dried wild flowers make excellent shakers!
Who’s hiding in the garden? Tallon and Bobby had a very busy afternoon hunting around the garden for the characters in our books.
