Tomorrow, members of the school council will be going around school selling entries for our two Christmas competitions: ‘Guess the name of the elf’ and ‘Guess the number of candy canes.’ Entries cost 50p each and the winner will win either an elf teddy or the box of candy canes.
We will also be selling packets of ‘Reindeer Food’ for 50p each. Please send any money in tomorrow and throughout the week if you are wanting to enter the competition. Winners will be announced on Friday morning. Thank you.
Lily-Mae has been a super star attending school all week and really letting her confidence shine in her play! She is always super kind and well deserving! Keep up the great work Lily-Mae!
Today we enjoyed our very first Christmas party together! We had so much fun dancing and partying together. We played musical statues, bumps and pass the parcel! We are well and truly in the Christmas spirit now!
Today a group of our children visited their friends at Smile A While. The children gifted an activity pack they had created filled with activities for a party. They had written every member a Christmas card and customised them with their very own label. More importantly the children included their final product from this expedition. Each member received a bespoke badge and card to say thank you for our new friendship and the celebrations we have already shared together. We look forward to working with you in the new year and wish you all a very merry Christmas!
Today we enjoyed celebrating Hudson’s 4th birthday! Thank you for bringing in cake to share with your friends, it made our home time crew session even better! A big shout out to George too who is our learning legend. He did some brilliant maths work demonstrating his careful counting 👍🏻
This week in nursery the children are listening to lots of nursery rhymes and Christmas songs. I wonder if you can hear the rhyming couplets in the song Jingle Bells?
This week the children in Nursery are having their Christmas Party on Tuesday morning and Thursday afternoon. Children are invited to come in their party clothes all day. We will be playing games, dancing and sharing some treats! Don’t forget it’s also Christmas Jumper Day on Friday to raise money for Save the Children. 🎅🏻🎄🎉
