Be a Maker!

This week in nursery we are continuing to hook into our new expedition by being Early Years Engineers! We began our expedition today by sharing together the story Be a Maker. You can find this in our google classroom this week. Here are some of our children being makers today!

A great first week back!

This week the children have come back to nursery with lots of smiles, its wonderful to see how they have settled so quickly after the Christmas holiday. This week we have focused on immersing our classroom for our new expedition. The children have enjoyed helping to create new displays and have loved helping the staff in nursery. We have also enjoyed exploring the ice outside yesterday morning, talking about how it was cold, smooth and hard to touch.

This week we have had lots of shining stars and today was no different. Well done to our HOWL point winner Maisie and our 2 postcard winners Hazel and Darcy!

Enjoy your weekend everyone 🙂

Outdoor Play in the sun

Well done to Thea for being our HOWL point winner today and well done to Archie for being our postcard winner today!

A great first day back!

Nursery had a super start to our spring term today! There were lots of excited children today so happy to be back in school with their crew. The children began their day with a hook week challenge and ended with our postcard of the day going to Hollie! Hollie has been super kind today and a glowing example of our HOWLS. Well done Hollie!

Christmas Competition Winners!

Well done to Abbie and Damion for winning our two Christmas competitions! The winning elf name was ‘Cinnamon’ and the total number of candy canes was 52. We managed to raise a fantastic total to go towards our Year 6 leavers fund so thank you for all of your donations.

Christmas Birthdays! 🎂

We have been so lucky today in Nursery. Not only did we get to celebrate Christmas but we got to celebrate Henry’s, Archie’s and Ollie’s birthday! Happy Birthday from all your friends. Your friends all thoroughly enjoyed your cakes 😋

Christmas Jumper Day: Save the Children 🎄🎅🏻

Last Friday, children were encouraged to wear a Christmas jumper and donate money to fundraise for the ‘Save the Children’ charity. As a school, we managed to raise an incredible £286 which will go towards helping many different families this Christmas. Thank you for the generosity of all who donated money!
