Enjoying the sunshine

Class 8 have worked so hard today whilst completing their end of term assessments. I am so proud of their fantastic attitudes towards their assessments and I love how keen they are to know how well they have done and how much they have improved!

They definitely deserved some choosing time for half an hour this afternoon, as well as some reading time in the sun 🌞

Only 1 more assessment to go…keep up this super work…well done class 8

More fantastic sculptures!!!

This week class 8 have been creating some extremely unique and artistic sculptures using recycled metal items.

I am so impressed with the way that they tackled their ideas and the skills that they used to overcome problems within their designs and during the creative process!

I am so excited to see the end product.

Well done crew! Mrs Shaw x

Clay sea sculptures

Year 2 today had a go at using and applying their skills to add detail to these clay sculptures as part of their art expeditionary learning. They were making patterns and adding a variety of textures to the sea creature shapes.

They were so engaged and loved being artists today…well done class 8!

Preparation for the student led conferences

In crew, the children were looking through their maths books today to find work that they were proud of that they would like to share with parents. We had great discussions about their previous learning and about the improvements they have made this year in terms of maths.

I love our crew sessions where we reflect on our learning journeys and think about how we are going to move forward! Well done!
