Times Tables Rockstars Day! 🎤🎸

Check out our video from Times Tables Rockstars Day!

Class 8 trip to Weston Park

The children have thoroughly enjoyed their visit today to weston Park museum in Sheffield.

Their case studies in their current expedition are geography, history and art. Throughout the day they looked at maps of Sheffield and England, touched and played with items/toys and learnt about different times in history. In the afternoon they looked at art that had a focus on Sheffield and the surrounding areas, drew their own version and then created a print of their art.

We managed to cram so much into today and learnt so much and I think the adults enjoyed it as much as the children!

What a great day 💚

Reading partners

In academic crew this morning we discussed how important reading is and everyone wants to beat their current reading age so we gave them some time to read for pleasure. It was lovely to see the pleasure they got out of it 😀

Well done guys…keep reading as often as you can 📖📚

Handwriting practice

Class 8 take such pride in their work and today they have begun to learn how to join their letters to each other whilst still ensuring that they are formed correctly.

I am so proud of their efforts
