Brendan’s amazing home learning!

Brendan has been so busy doing lots of different and very interesting things: Including camping outside, doing dance classes online, helping make a vegetable patch, seed bombing the garden to grow some wild flowers, observational drawings, the laundry, putting up bug hotels and probably so much more too that I have forgot to mention!

I’m so impressed at all you have been doing and I love reading about it and seeing your learning in action.  He and his family have even been online and done an Open University Course about ancient woodlands.

‘We learned that trees have lots of micro habitats and the Major Oak is over 1000 years old!’

Amazing – Keep it up super star!

Harry the baker!

Harry has been busy again but this time in the kitchen! Making the most of his time at home and learning new skills while also making his mums birthday as special as he can!  What a super star 🙂

Looks great Harry – good job well done – I’m sure your mum loved it!

Wildlife at night

Brendan and his family have set up a wildlife camera to check out what comes out at night. They managed to get a shot of the hedgehog that’s been visiting!

Lego Challenges

Here are 30 challenges for those of you who like to play with Lego – maybe you could share them (use [email protected]) and we’ll put a video together of all those different creations.

Funky Friday

Morning guys – well it’s Friday again – how has your week been I wonder?

Mines been nice to be back at school but its been strange at the same time to not see you all together as a class!

Let me know how you will be spending your funky Fridays at home!

Thanks again for staying in touch and all the wonderful things you have been doing at home, with each other and for your learning!  Week 2 down of this crazy situation – Stay safe and I wish you all a lovely weekend.

Learning Legends Today In Class 12

Both Harry and Brendan have blow me away today with the quality of their writing.  They have both produced a brilliant diary entry as if they were Jesus on the day of his arrest.

You have both had a have-a-go attitude to this activity as I know how hard it was to write in first person about something that you haven’t experienced yourself – but you both did a fabulous job – well done!

True crew in class 12 🥰

Logged online to hangouts this afternoon to find my lovely lot all joining in with a quiz together, it was so lovely to see!  Some of the questions I managed to catch were also linked to our expedition learning! Well done everyone who joined and big shout out to Charleigh for creating the quiz for people to do together, I hope you all had fun. You will have to let me know who won!

Harry has had lots of fun!

As well as doing lots of daily learning and putting 110% effort into all he does, Harry has been helping to paint the summer house and fence, been tree climbing, digging and cycling on the turbo trainer and he has even made his own ant house! Which he is very proud and excited about! Fabulous Harry! Well done and thanks for sharing all your learning and fun with us.
