I am amazed by the quality of home learning this term! Jayden, Amelia, Oliver, Myles and Jake have blown me away with their effort and enthusiasm to our current exploration. Well done guys!

In class 15, we have been taking part in a reading challenge in a drive to improve our reading skills. If the children scored over 90% in their comprehension quiz or vocabulary quiz then they received a raffle ticket. As it was the first day back we held the draw for last term. The lucky winners for Spring term 1 were Jayden, Hattie, Ewan and Jake.
Jake and Jayden chose Arsenal snoods kindly donated by a contact at Arsenal F.C
Hattie chose headphones, again donated by Arsenal and Ewan chose the huge bar of Toblerone!
Well done to everyone in class 15 who had tickets in the draw. I have been really impressed by the enthusiasm to read books in Accelerated Reader time.
Well done to all of our worthy winners this week and a big well done to all those who have remembered to keep house points regularly updated!
We had a great time today visiting Mr Humprey (Science Teacher) at Trinity Academy to listen to a lecture about space. We learnt many new facts and also how to give a lecture to an audience. Green Top staff were blown away by the amazing questions our children asked and the sophisticated facts they shared with each other.
