Today, Class 7 have learned about Hinduism during our second faith day of the year. We watched some traditional stories, learned about the long history of Hinduism and then created our own Rangoli patterns We loved it!

Please try to practise these at home with your children. Mr Gerrard’s and Mrs Shaw’s groups have been working on these all week. Thanks x
What a super day Class 7 have had visiting a castle!
Today, Class 7 were able to build catapults with their adults. It was great to see the amazing designs, resilience when assembling them and seeing them in action.
The children (and staff!) had a fantastic time dancing their socks off at our Autumn disco this evening. There were some amazing costumes and everyone had so much fun. A huge thanks go to our wonderful PTA, Friends of Green Top for organising this, and many other fabulous events that raise so much money for our school. You ladies rock!
Apologies for the somewhat blurry photographs in the slideshow below…it was difficult trying to get the children to stay still for the pictures!
A huge well done to all of our community crew winners this week. You have had a fantastic week, modelling beautiful manners and producing really great work. A huge well done too because our first reading certificate was handed out this week for reading 30 books so far, I can’t wait to see more get handed out! Well done key stage 1! Keep up the great work!
Well done to those who attended our little sports club! We practiced our throwing at lunch today and I can’t believe how many Year 1s and 2s turned up. After half term, we will have other activities as well!
Class 7 have been hard at work today, by writing up a draft of their Three Little Knights story. We have been working hard on making sure that our writing looks as neat as it does in our handwriting books, but now in our Expedition books! Let’s see who will get our special pencils to write with!
Year 1 and Year 2 will be holding a family learning session where we invite parents, carers and grandparents into school to support the children with their learning! We will be doing some DT that links to our castle expedition and we think the children will love it! I hope lots of you can make it into school.
