Hello
Please find attached the google form for week 2 of our John o Groats to Lands End challenge. I will update the map on Monday evening so it gives everyone time to send their steps in. Good luck and keep those steps up!

Today we enjoyed leading our own learning circles. Every group organised themselves so well and everyone was confidently sharing and being fair and respectful. I was very impressed with all of the children and the children said they really enjoyed sharing in this way.
Next we played a team game called Crossing the River. We had to work as a team to get all our teams across the river. We kept adjusting the level of challenge to see if we could work as a team and adapt our plans.
We had lots of fun.
We have had another super day, still crew building but with a bit of maths thrown in! Trying to get the most points by throwing the beanbag was tricky but fun!
More fun tomorrow
Mrs Wallace 😊
This morning we have enjoyed having our crews back together again for the first time in 2021! We talked about our feelings and how we can help each other. It was lots of fun!
The Masked Reader is finally here!
Can you guess which teacher is hiding under each mask?
Submit your answers below – good luck!

Here is a sneak peek of our Masked Reader!
Coming 4th March …
As part of expedition work the children have been talking about how they help and support others and how others help them. Please see a uniform shop set up by the children for you to make good use of. All items are of course free and please take whatever you can make use of.
Throughout March, as a school we are planning to walk from John o Groats to Lands end and back! That’s 1,748 miles!
If my calculations are correct as a school we only need to do 110,505 steps a day! Easy!
So charge up your fit bits and smart watches and get your walking shoes ready!
At the end of the week complete the google form that I have attached to this blog and we will record your steps. There will be weekly prizes in school for most steps in a week and all school staff will be getting involved too.
Good luck and I hope you enjoy the challenge

class 9 were very excited to receive some cards from children in reception today, as part of the EYFS expedition. They have been learning about mental health and well being and have certainly put a smile on our faces with their beautiful cards. We can’t wait until we can thank them in person too.
thank you,
Mrs Shaw x
We loved playing in the snow this morning!
