Well done to this weeks winners! Keep up the good work everyone!
We are having a blast at the space centre!
Well done to all of our worthy winners this week and a big well done to all those who have remembered to keep house points regularly updated!
We had a great time today visiting Mr Humprey (Science Teacher) at Trinity Academy to listen to a lecture about space. We learnt many new facts and also how to give a lecture to an audience. Green Top staff were blown away by the amazing questions our children asked and the sophisticated facts they shared with each other.

We are very excited for maths week!
We will be celebrating maths and to do this we will be doing the following:
- Each day you will be informed of a challenge you can complete at home and bring into school
- At 3pm on Thursday (in the school hall), parents are invited to join the learning council to play maths games and look at how you can support your children with maths at home
- Friday is NSPCC Maths day so we will be having a ‘maths’ dress up day (£1 donation) and a bun sale to raise money for the charity
- Buns will be on sale for 50p (we will also be accepting donations of buns, cake and biscuits)
Please see the link below for dress up ideas and more information about NSPCC maths day:
Monday’s challenge is: Who can find the oldest coin? This needs to be a coin that you can currently spend in the UK. Place in an envelop child’s name, the coin enclosed and date! Good Luck!
Thanks

Crew Knowles enjoyed learning about the phases of the moon this afternoon. We learned new vocabulary such as waxing and waning and we learned why the moon looks different each night. They also had fun recreating the phases of the moon using Oreo biscuits!
Great work guys!
Follow this link to watch another video and take a quiz on the phases of the moon!
I am so proud of some of the children in Crew Knowles who have been attending Early Birds learning club from 8.30 in the morning! Here they are practising finding percentages of amounts using a roll the dice game – one of my favourites!
Remember Early Birds starts at 8.30am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays!
Well done to all winners today – remember to update your house point charts before Wednesdays to be in with a chance of winning a prize!
