Fun with Phonics!

This week in nursery the children have been exploring the beginning sounds in words! It is such a tricky skill and one that we need to hear lots of times.

Can you find 5 things in your house that begin with s? Record these in your homework book or bring them in to share. Don’t forget to see an adult for your class reward!

Wonderful homework this week!

Fantastic homework in nursery this week! The children proudly shared their home learning with each other.

Ethan has talked about the dangers of going into the woods alone and made a danger sign.

Maddison has been counting objects around the house to 29!

Bonnie has collected items to three and tried writing her numbers.
Alice has been baking banana bread.
Ria-Mae has made another wonderful house.

Homework of the Week!

Well done Ezra for your creation ! Your house is absolutely stunning and you have worked so hard with your Daddy to create a masterpiece! “I was at my house and I put more paint and more sticks on it when it get broken! The Three Little Pigs!”

Odd Sock Day

Nursery enjoyed odd sock day today!  Here they are showing off their odd socks! The children chatted together about being kind and how we can help each other in nursery.

Remembrance Day

Nursery remembered the fallen soldiers by watching ‘Poppies’ and then creating poppies throughout the day that they could wear with pride. The children held a circle for a minutes silence together outdoors.

“The soldiers saved our country” Hunter S

“The poppies came back after the fighting.”  Reeva
