The nursery children dressed in spots today for Pudsey! They donated a pound and took part in spotty activities, yoga and storytime to think about children who need help the most!

This week in nursery the children have been exploring the beginning sounds in words! It is such a tricky skill and one that we need to hear lots of times.

A huge thank you to our parents for supporting our first reading cafe of the year! It was wonderful seeing so many of you enjoy reading and exploring phonics EYFS style! The opportunity to talk about the development of phonics in early years and a love of reading was invaluable. Hope to see you all next time!
Nursery enjoyed odd sock day today! Here they are showing off their odd socks! The children chatted together about being kind and how we can help each other in nursery.
Nursery remembered the fallen soldiers by watching ‘Poppies’ and then creating poppies throughout the day that they could wear with pride. The children held a circle for a minutes silence together outdoors.

Come and join your child for story time activities on Wednesday 13th in the morning 9-10am. Refreshments will be provided and staff will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about reading in the Early Years. Please register with your class teacher before making your way to the hall.

Next week is national anti-bullying week which we will be celebrating again this year as a school. Odd socks day – Show and express your true self and individuality on Tuesday 12th November 2019! The crazier the better, let’s all sparkle and shine together 🙂
