Nursery have had so much fun today and we have definitely enjoyed the sunshine. Today in Nursery we have had so much fun exploring new activities with our friends and playing lots of games.
I wonder what we can do tomorrow?

Today in Nursery the children enjoyed messy play in the garden. We added glitter and water to the foam to make it even more fun!! The children loved making shapes, patterns and designs. The children are excited to see what other messy play activities they can use in Nursery.
Wow! What a wonderful first day back we have had! I am so proud of how brilliantly the children came in to nursery this morning and their positive attitude when approaching team building activities. To get to know each other a little better, we drew around each others bodies and talked about what we looked like, counted fingers and toes and our personality traits.
The children have all worked so hard in their play, all helped with tidying our nursery and been an absolute delight to be with.
I can’t wait to have more adventures with you all tomorrow and hope you can all join us for our ‘Stay and Play’ session in the morning at 9.30-10.30.
Have a lovely evening with your families.
Mrs Hay 🙂
Dear Parents/ Carers,
We currently have very small numbers attending the trip to Cleethorpes on Tuesday 7th June. If you would like attend the trip with your child please pay the £20 on parent pay today.
We need to confirm numbers with the coach company ASAP. If you need to speak to a member regarding this, we’re always here to chat.
Thanks,
The Nursery Team
Well done boys. You have had a super day and really impressed Miss Cooper. Keep up the hard work
Ted and Willow shared with the crew some beautiful work they had produced over the weekend. We loved looking at your writing and hearing all about your weekend.
Well done, Miss Stewart
Before the half term break we used aerial photographs of Thorne to identify the features of our local community. The children were experts at identifying places in their local area. For the next two weeks we will continue discussing key places in our community and how these places serve the people living in Thorne.
What a super afternoon we had celebrating our party!
I am so proud of all the children today, we still followed our Crew Norms even though we were partying! Well done everyone! Mrs Wallace 🙂
