We are back from an absolutely fabulous learning visit to The Deep!
It was amazing to learn lots of new things about different sea creatures and also take part in our workshop where children had to guess the sea creatures, look at real life sea creatures and draw them and also use the computers to put together different images linked to the ocean.
I am so proud of how well the children conducted themselves around The Deep. Despite being full on enthusiasm and bursting with excitement, the children had beautiful manners to other members of the public who were also visiting. Well done guys, you’re super stars!
A special mention to our birthday girl Bryona! Hope you’ve enjoyed it!!

What an amazing start Class 6 have had in year 1. We made lots of lovely creatures to decorate our classroom during hook week, and worked wonderfully in groups to match numerals and words, and to label pictures from our class text, Commotion in the Ocean. We have all settled in really well and we can’t wait to find out more about the creatures in our animal kingdom.
What a great start to the year!!
Class 14 had a great time this afternoon immersing our classroom for the following year.
Year 5/6 had an absolutely great time at Austerfield building relationships with their crew and developing their collaboration and team work skills!
