Lost property

Hi Everyone

We have a growing collection of tops, jumpers and cardigans, PE kit and socks outside our classroom. Please would you check that the items of uniform that you have are indeed your own and come and check our lost property to see if you can be re-united with your items?

Thanks for your support

We’re in the paper

On Wednesday last week Mandy Bishop who eon the womens elite road race in 1982 came to visit Green Top ahead of the UCI world championships. The team brought a sponsorship car to show us too. Here’s the picture from the Thorne Times

Class 7 visit The Deep!!

We are back from an absolutely fabulous learning visit to The Deep!

It was amazing to learn lots of new things about different sea creatures and also take part in our workshop where children had to guess the sea creatures, look at real life sea creatures and draw them and also use the computers to put together different images linked to the ocean.

I am so proud of how well the children conducted themselves around The Deep. Despite being full on enthusiasm and bursting with excitement, the children had beautiful manners to other members of the public who were also visiting. Well done guys, you’re super stars!

A special mention to our birthday girl Bryona! Hope you’ve enjoyed it!!

Fabulous First Week!

What an amazing start Class 6 have had in year 1. We made lots of lovely creatures to decorate our classroom during hook week, and worked wonderfully in groups to match numerals and words, and to label pictures from our class text, Commotion in the Ocean. We have all settled in really well and we can’t wait to find out more about the creatures in our animal kingdom.
