A huge thank you to the parents/carers who could make our family learning session this afternoon – it was a pleasure to meet you all and to see you enjoy grappling with computer coding alongside your children. Also, a shout out to the children themselves – you all worked so hard and it was great to see so many of you sharing your expertise with others and helping others to debug any problems with their algorithms. It was a pleasure to invite parents back to our OOTW phase assembly for the first time this morning – thank you to those who could make it to help celebrate their children receiving OOTW certificates for their achievements in school today. A big well done to all the other children who also received shout outs and HOWL certificates as well … who will be celebrating next Thursday?
Today, we have worked collaboratively to model how the earth, sun and moon relate to one another. We used torches to explore how the seasons and day/night occur during different times of the day or year. We then presented our models back to the class. Well done everyone – some fabulous new knowledge in action!

If you are isolating and well enough, you will also find copies of the week’s slides on there too. If you are poorly there is no expectation that you will access any online learning.

I just want to do a HUGE shout out for Lily and Olivia in Year 6 who have completed these beautiful collages! The fact that they are currently accessing their learning from home hasn’t stopped them from working hard and getting smart! As a result they have produced some gorgeous art work! Well done girls!
