Nursery: Coffee Morning on Thursday to support with toileting your child.

It’s fair to say that Class 7 loved learning their Faith Day today. We learnt about Diwali, but more specifically the story of Rama and Sita. We loved it and were inspired to make our own Diya lamps!

What a great way to end our first half term together and enjoy your break! 🙂
What a great day for the boys this afternoon as they represented school at their first ever tournament. It’s fair to say we showed lots of courage and determination to be our best. Some highlights included a wonderful solo goal in a tough match, lots of great defensive work and some brave goalkeeping. We can’t wait for more! 🙂 Just a reminder to bring the kits back tomorrow, please!

We had such fun at our disco this afternoon. We had lots of dancing and spending time with our friends making memories!

What a great way to spend our afternoon.

To build on our learning about the Hindu celebration of Diwali, Y4 made their clay Diwa lamps ready for our Faith Day on Friday!

Crew Walton tried something new today in Reading-we took turns to act out a page of our book ‘Vlad and the Roman Triumph’. The children did amazingly well for their first attempt and read with great fluency…Well done!

We were so inspired by Mr Pickles rock and drumming session last week that we thought we would have a try for ourselves in our classroom. It was super noisy but soooo much fun!

We loved it and will definitely do it again! Well done everyone for having such a good go!

Class 7 loved practicing their skills in PE of chest passes and bounce passes. We even put our skills to use in a game where we had to try and get points for knocking the object off the cone.
