We are excited to confirm details of our Family Learning event on Wednesday 7th May. We ask parents to arrive at the office at 2pm for a fun filled hour with our children where we will be building on our skills in chair drumming! Let’s hope the sun keeps shining!
Last week, the children created their own magic mirrors and princess carriages using craft resources to immerse our Nursery! Take a look next time you are in – they look beautiful!
Today the children have listened to the story of Cinderella to start and inspire our Expedition learning. The children have been Motivated Moes and decided to create paper doll princess and princess crowns. The children enjoyed decorating the crowns using glitter, crape paper and sequins.
The children had a wonderful afternoon with Mr Kershaw who came to teach physical skills with the Comando Joe resources. The children loved completing the obstacle course with good coordination, balance and negotiating be equipment with the other children.
This week we are focusing on letters x, y and z.
Encourage your child to spot these letters in books and in their environment. Can they say the letter name and phonetic sound? Can they write the grapheme?
This week we have been focussing on number bonds to 10 in our maths learning. We have been showing these in different ways and the children were using the knowledge that they already had to help them.
We tried it in as many ways as we could. Well done Class 3, we are definitely maths superstars!

We were hooking into our new Expedition this week. Our Expedition is called Once Upon a Time : Who is hiding in the pages of the book. We have been making some storybook crafts and the children were keen to show off their fairy godmothers wands!
Well done everyone for a super week.

Class 7 have been hard at work researching the Kings and Queens of past. They worked collaboratively to get more information on Henry VIII, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth II.
