The newest  area in school was installed over the summer holidays in the KS1 outdoor area. ‘The Hub’ consists of the ‘Learning Hub’ and the ‘Nurture Hub.’
The Learning Hub is an area where children, from across the school, get extra support in their  learning for English and Maths.
The Nurture Hub is where we support the child’s social and emotional needs, in a relaxing and calming environment.
Both Hubs have been busy since term started and we are looking forward to working with more children as the year goes on.
The Learning Hub:Â Mrs Graves:
The Nurture Hub: Mrs Fitzpatrick, Mrs Rafferty, Mrs Dewsnap and Mrs Dale.
We had a visit today from the Yorkshire Cricket Club and had an hour workshop with them. The children had loads of fun and had some great cricket skills! Definitely some future cricket stars at Green Top, watch out Joe Wroot! Â A big thank you to mr Spetch for organising this afternoon and I think some children are keen to sign up for the allstars training camp!

Today the winning bloggers from the ‘Why I love Green Top Blog’ competition received their prizes in our Out of this World assembly. They have all been given a £5 voucher to spend at our book fair this week!
Well done and enjoy your prize!
We had a fantastic night in story club on Tuesday – we read “One snowy night” and then each child made their own hedgehog model to take home. The children were so well behaved and enthusiastic about the activity – we love sharing books and making crafts linked to them.
