Class 13 – New Expedition 💡🔋

Today we have been looking at our new expedition, ’The Power of Life: What fuels us?’, but more specifically Physics, which is our first case study. We looked at some of the everyday items that are powered using electricity as well as looking at the ways in which electricity is generated. We then created a poster to show some of the ways we can make ourselves more sustainable.

Year 5 and 6 Christmas Craft

All the children in year 5 and 6 worked really hard last week to bake and decorate shortbread and gingerbread ready for the Christmas Fair. They all looked delicious – a fantastic job everyone!

A huge thanks to XP Outdoors for supplying the entire trust with these fantastic craft wood cookies to decorate and keep as part of our crew building activities this week. Crew Rodgers and Crew Clay made these super cute disco dancing reindeer tree decorations. Aren’t they amazing? Mine looks fab on my tree at home!
