This afternoon, the children created some space-related artwork using watercolours. We used black paper to create space and then added our watercolour planets on top. Take a look at some of the end results!

Year 3/4 Graduation Day

Unfortunately, due to the weather forecast this event will be cancelled today. The Friend’s of GT have kindly agreed to do this on Friday at the picnic!

Year 3 Transition! 🚀
What a great first impression from the new Year 3s. They have been kind, funny and eager to learn about space and more specifically Yuri Gagarin – the first man to go into space. The new Y3s have worked hard on understanding his life and have also created some artwork based on planets!
Y1 transition day
We have had a wonderful day learning all about Valentina Tereshkova, investigating our new classroom, making moon sand, devising new classroom rules and helping to make new displays. We will certainly have a good night’s sleep tonight!

Mrs Shaw’s new year 2’s
We have had such a wonderful day today getting to know each other and I have loved seeing them doing some fantastic learning. They have impressed me so much with their beautiful manners and super smiles all day. I can’t wait for tomorrow! I hope they can tell you all about their day.

Blasting off into Year 4!
Wow, what a lovely day we have had in Crew Knowles today! We have really enjoyed celebrating history week too! We have researched the famous astronaut Yuri Gagarin and learn that he was the first man in space! We also completed some beautiful artwork!
