We discussed anti-bullying week in class 12 and spoke about what it meant to all in class, how it can affect children, how children can get help and where from.
We also shared a new story called Red – A crayon’s story. The children loved hearing it and were excited to talk about it. I have set up a competition for class 12 to comment what they think the message in the story is to those who read it. Make sure you comment your ideas below!
Paige went above and beyond for odd socks day and she definitely stood proud to support ‘it’s ok to be different and we are all unique!’ Well done lovely!!
In class 12 we have had so many books being checked out of our lending library and now these two (and others) have bought some lovely books from our school books sale! Well done guys and happy reading 😊
Thank you to all who attended the service today, our Green Top children represented our school beautifully today to lay our wreath. Here are some lovely photos of the morning.
Next week is national anti-bullying week which we will be celebrating again this year as a school. Odd socks day – Show and express your true self and individuality on Tuesday 12th November 2019! The crazier the better, let’s all sparkle and shine together 🙂
What is it?
Most importantly, Odd Socks Day is designed to be fun! It’s an opportunity to encourage people to express themselves and celebrate their individuality and what makes us all unique!
