Year 2 Spellings!

Even though it was cold, Class 7 braved the weather to help tidy our school and keep it clean!
Just a polite reminder please for year 1 and 2 parents to pay for our exciting pantomime treat. We do this every year and the children enjoy it so much but we must have payment from everyone for this to continue. Thank you so much for your support as always x x
Today, year 2 had their first orienteering lesson and I think it’s safe to say that they loved it.
They were using the maps, working together and did so much exercise running between the locations.
On top of this, key stage 1 have started their daily mile at playtimes this week. They are loving the exercise and being outside in this lovely Autumn weather.
Great job guys!
Just so everyone is aware, the children for both classes will have an extra PE session this Friday, so can children bring their PE kits for our extra session 🙂
Please try to practise these at home with your children. Mr Gerrard’s and Mrs Shaw’s groups have been working on these all week. Thanks 🙂
Today, Class 7 have had a try at making their own battering rams, as part of DT. First we designed, then we made!
Class 7 made wreaths to remember and respect Remembrance Day. We observed a beautiful 2 minutes silence as well!
Over the last few weeks before half term the children have been painting poppies to decorate the school fences. They used collage work to decorate poppies to take home. Lovely work from everyone!
