Thank you everyone for all of your support in helping us to celebrate the launch of our Sunmer 2021 recipe cards where we learnt about countries around the world, healthy living and where food comes from.
There were fantastic food options to taste and information to read about the countries that the children studied closely.
We hope you enjoy the video and agree with us about the success of last year’s expedition.

Thank you so much to all of our parents and carers who came to celebrate our key stage 1 Summer 2021 expedition. There was a tasting session for everyone to try our superb food that the children had created recipe cards for.
There was a fantastic atmosphere and all of the food disappeared so it must have tasted great!
Well done children on creating such a fantastic piece of work.
If anyone would like to buy the recipe cards, we are selling them in school for £5 each or 2 packs for £7.50.

On Friday class 9 joined Tom Percival illustrator and author live for #Take10ToRead.
They loved following his tutorial and how to draw a character to show emotion and enjoyed the 10 mins out reading for pleasure.
Just a quick reminder to all that were apart of the KS1 Summer expedition project; What will the food around us tell us about the world around us?
Our celebration event is on Monday! Come find us in the main school hall from 2 until 4pm, for facts, food and fun!
Year 3 went on a school trip to the museum to experience the Roman Doncaster workshops.
In the first workshop class 9 learnt all about the Romans and the Celts and got to dress up like them.
They then went on to do some activities and learn a Roman game, draw some mosaics and learn the names of the pieces of pottery.
In the second workshop class 9 became archeologists and did an evidence and a coprolite study.
It was a super day, thank you for being amazing class 9 and really engaging with the trip.

We have set up our new online classroom for this year where you will find everything you need to help you at home. On the classroom, you will be able to access the homework menu, share your home learning and see extra challenges and tasks to complete.
All you need to do is log on to your emails and look for the invitation.

Yesterday class 9 played the greater than or less than dice game and there skills were clear to see.
Just look how fantastic they are working collaboratively with their peers.
Keep up the amazing work, you little mathematicians.
In year 3 today, both classes have been getting arty. They have been following a step by step tutorial and been cutting and crafting to create a piece of work inspired by pop art.
Just look how amazing they have been while creating beautiful work.

We had a great time in dance club this week learning our new dance. Here they are in action.
