Lots of lovely rainbows keep appearing in my inbox! They make me smile every time so keep them coming!
Another successful learning day today!
We have continued to work on ratio in maths and reading in English -we had lots of great retrieval skills in English! Lots of children have shared their learning with me on Hangouts too, I have seen pictures of rainbows, spelling practise and a solar system drawing! All very impressive!
Today’s learning legends are Rosie and Rylie!
Rosie eared a Motivated Moe as she filled everyone with positivity in Crew this morning and Rylie has earned a Stickability Stan as she is completing all of her work to the same standard that she would in school!
Well done!
Well to Oscar and Max for receiving today’s Learning Legends!
Oscar has received the Choosing, Checking, Changing, Charlie award for his attitude towards checking and changing his answers! Max has received the Motivated Moe award for his positive, determined attitude to his learning at home! Well done boys!
As it would have been diversity this week, we have spent the morning thinking about ourselves and how we are all individual. Some of the children have created lovely word clouds full of words to describe themselves – do they remind you of anyone??
Wow! We are so impressed with Crew Knowles, Mumby and Overson today! They have done some great learning from home and have really impressed us with their maths and English learning, We were particularly impressed with how well they handled ratios as this is new learning for us!
We can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
Good afternoon
We are aware that our Y6 students are struggling with the unknown and indefinite return to school.
Today, we need to go further, because according to SAGE [the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies] it looks as though we’re now approaching the fast growth part of the upward curve.
And without drastic action, cases could double every 5 or 6 days.
So, first, we need to ask you to ensure that if you or anyone in your household has one of those two symptoms, (the high temperature OR a new and continuous cough) then you should stay at home for fourteen days.
That means that if possible you should not go out even to buy food or essentials, other than for exercise, and in that case at a safe distance from others. If necessary, you should ask for help from others for your daily necessities. And if that is not possible, then you should do what you can to limit your social contact when you leave the house to get supplies.
And even if you don’t have symptoms and if no one in your household has symptoms, there is more that we need you to do now.
Thank you for your continued vigilance and support at this uncertain time
