Class 9 had great fun yesterday learning how to multiply by 10 and 100. It was great to see all the children getting involved. There are 20 house points to be won by anyone who can tell me the method we used!
This is how we did 24 x 10 by moving one space to the left.
Then we did 1.2 x 100 by moving two places to the left.
We needed to remember to add a 0 as a place holder.
