Next week’s Feel Good Friday challenge

Next week we want photo’s of you doing something that is making you or keeping you happy during lockdown/ isolation.

Think about the things you have done that have made you smile, every photo we receive to the [email protected] email address by 3pm on Wednesday 15th April will be included. With the photo challenges we can get all photo’s involved, this is not always the case with the video ones unfortunately due to the editing required and the tight time scales.

As with all of our Feel Good Friday challenges, families are welcome to get involved too… I can’t wait to see your pictures!

Learning Legend

Look at this amazing learning by Georgia. I think she’s been an Exploring Eddie today in her Maths. She has been working so hard every day and having lots of fun. I am really proud of you Georgia. You always have the brightest smile and you are always wanting to learn new things. I know your parents think your learning is improving all the time too. You are a superstar!

Funky Friday

Morning guys – well it’s Friday again – how has your week been I wonder?

Mines been nice to be back at school but its been strange at the same time to not see you all together as a class!

Let me know how you will be spending your funky Fridays at home!

Thanks again for staying in touch and all the wonderful things you have been doing at home, with each other and for your learning!  Week 2 down of this crazy situation – Stay safe and I wish you all a lovely weekend.

Easter is coming in Class 7 🐣

Look at how busy some of the children in Class 7 have been. Mrs Roe and I have been so proud of all of the children that have sent us their learning to look at today. We’ve had so many and it’s been fabulous.

I notice- In maths, children have been able to use different shapes to make an easter picture and have found lots of 2D and 3D shapes around their homes.

I praise- how creative children have got in their Expedition learning they’ve been so far this week. Love all of the different materials that have been used.

I wonder- In English, if children can continue to practice using adjectives in expanded noun phrases. Have a go at describing some objects around your house.

Good Morning!

Morning class 12!!

Hope you are all well and are enjoying your Easter, whether that be learning, crafting or just chilling!

Today’s learning is up in the classroom, remember the Expedition learning slides are for the week for you to do when you want :).  English and Maths will continue to be daily 🙂

Can’t wait to see what you have been up to today and to see your amazing learning as always 🙂

Today’s Learning Legend is Maya! She has worked her socks off all week.

Well done Maya. I have loved seeing all your photographs. You have been a real ‘Can Do Colin’ and have worked so hard.

Great work!

Tuesday’s home learning

Huge thanks again for getting in touch and accessing learning at home. Thanks for contacting us if you can’t access online learning or communicate with school.

Today the staff in school are reduced to minimum numbers and

We notice…the quality of work from students today has been amazing and we’ve had learning shared from over 350 children,

We praise… the support, praise, encouragement and thank yous from our parenting community – we’re in this together . Our Green Top Family.

We also praise… the number of children who have been able to ‘touch base’ with staff before 11am so we don’t have to touch base to check in with you all.

We wonder… if anyone is still struggling to log in to online platforms? If you are please contact the office or your teacher who will ask Mr Kershaw and the staff team to try to support you over the phone.

Thanks all
