Learning to tell the time

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=NRmARl7Gm4k

This week year 2 are learning how to tell the time for quarter past and quarter to the hour. If you want an extra challenge then you can learn to tell the time to the nearest 5 minutes.

The link above might give you a helping hand and there are similar ones on you tube too.

Lots of children find time tricky but practice makes perfect so any additional help would be fantastic.

Thank you

Science at Trinity

On Friday, Y5 had the pleasure of attending a science lesson at Trinity. The children took part in a range of practical activites linked to biology, chemistry and physics. Everyone was hooked into the lesson and really enjoyed the practical experiments. Well done to everyone I was really impressed with your hard work and attitude to learning.

Trinity Science Lesson 🔬

Year 5 were lucky to have the opportunity to visit Trinity on Friday to take part in a science lesson and have a taster of physics, biology and chemistry by completing different experiments. Well done everyone for your brilliant learning attitudes and your enthusiasm – I was very proud!

Pobble reading lesson

We love a good old pobble reading lesson in class 12. No wrong answers, lots of discussion, imagination, questioning, inference, retrieval, evidence selecting and predictions! So much learning all rolled up into one fun lesson! We love it!

My favourite part though, is how they recall and link their expedition learning (current and past) and just show off all their wonderful knowledge! Well done as always guys! Love it!

Maths, maths, maths!

Blown away by how amazing this weeks learning has been, and how much we have learned by applying our skills to real life situations! Smashed today’s touch down with all our measurement knowledge 🙂
