The children have loved being in the garden today.
Particularly playing with the parachute and trying to stop the ball from bouncing off.
Please bring named sun hats tomorrow.

Y6 have taken part in a range of experiments linked to sound. We studied how we hear sound and what causes sound as part of our science week investigation. Well done Y6 it looks like you had a lot of fun! #OgdenTrust
We had an awesome Presentation of Learning for our Expedition How do things grow and change?
The children presented what we had learned in each Case study, we sang some songs related to ouir learning and then we planted our bulbs in the pots that we had designed and painted.
The chicks that we have been looking after for Case Study 3 and Science week were the stars of the show with the children and grown ups having a hold and a cuddle.
Thanks so much to everyone who managed to join us this afternoon, the children are so proud of their learning and they loved sharing with you.
We are so proud of all the children in Reception, well done everyone!

Yesterday class 8 enjoyed testing different objects to see which were the best at floating and which ones sunk. They predicted what would happen based on the material of the object.
They had lots of fun but it was also great to see them using their knowledge of materials from our Autumn term expedition!
Great work class 8!
Today, Class 7 tested friction of different objects and also the friction of cars on different surfaces.
