During academic crew this week, we spent time talking about assessment week. We shared our feelings and then came up with a list of top tips to help us do the best we can. It was great to see how many tips everyone came up with and we have displayed them in the corridor for others to see too! Have a look at our tips here.

Y2 visit to St Nicholas Church
This afternoon, Year 2 enjoyed a brief visit to nearby St Nicholas Church to view their artwork which was displayed as part of the recent jubilee celebrations. The children were able to learn more about the history of the church and how it has changed over the years.
Class 10: Do all solids take the same amount of time to melt?
Yesterday, we completed our final investigation to see if all solids melt at the same speed. I wonder if you can tell your adults what we found out.
Jam Jars Needed – Can you help?
We are starting to collect all the resources we need for the year 3/4 product and are running short on jam jars for all the children to have 2 each for their product.
If you have jam or anything in a small glass jar, we would be very grateful if you could bring this to school for us to use when you have finished.
Thank you to those who have already helped the cause and brought some in for us!

Class 7 – fun in the sun!
To end our busy half-term, class 7 enjoyed taking their PE lesson outdoors to practise their ball skills in the sunshine! It’s been a brilliant half-term and the children have all worked so hard … Well done everyone, enjoy a fantastic half-term break!
Class 10: Measuring liquids
Last week, we enjoyed the sunshine and made a pretend sugary drink using our measuring skills.
Crew Barnett: Teamwork
Last week, we had some time during crew so we had another go at one of our favourite challenges. After some discussion about how we can work well as a team, we managed some great towers.
Class 10: Jubilee Celebrations
We had great fun celebrating the jubilee today. After a lovely lunch, we got creative drawing our own crowns.
