The results are in…the dragons have decided!

First of all, a huge well done to everyone on a wonderful family learning event yesterday.

We loved all of your product designs and how much thought and effort you put in to them to make them unique. Also, well done to those who stood up to present their product- it takes a lot of bravery and courage to stand up and do what you did!

It was a difficult decision to make because the dragon’s loved them all however, here are the 3 worthy winners!

Getting smart on Changes of State!

Just look at these anchor charts! These will be so helpful to have up around our classroom and support us through our Science case study!

Well done guys on collaborating brilliantly on these. You demonstrated true crew values on this!

Turning our Scientist caps on in Year 4!

Hooking in to our Science Case Study!

We’ve had so much fun learning about solid, liquid and gases today. We’ve collaborated and sorted the different objects for the three different states as well as learning about the particles that make up these states.

I wonder…HOME LEARNING!!

Could you create a poster showing these different particles and write a short explanation for each one?

100 HoWL points up for grabs!

Beautiful work in Year 4!

I just had to share some of the beautiful work that has been produced today.

In expedition, we have been historian writers and have worked hard to research and piece together the life of an amazing and inspirational woman, ‘Mary Prince’ and wrote a diary entry from her perspective.

I want to take a minute to praise everyone in our crew for working hard on:

Their presentation- taking extra care with their handwriting

Including specific features

Supporting each other through their peer critique on the rubric

I’m so proud of you all!

Class 12 post card winners!

A big shout out to some of our post card winners this week!

You’ve all earned your place up there by your amazing learning attitudes. You’re setting a superb example to the rest of your crew and we are all really proud of you!

Keep it up, you’re super stars!

Working hard on our handwriting!

Just look at this beautiful handwriting!!

We’ve had a big push on our handwriting and presentation in academic crew this week, just in time for our final writing touch down!

We discussed where letters should sit on the lines and how to write using horizontal strokes even if we can’t join our writing yet. It was evident in your final touchdown writing today that you’ve taken away all that we’ve learnt.

Keep it up, I want to see the same high standard of writing and presentation in every piece of work please!
