Keep a look out on the blog this week for what we will be getting up to in our science weeks. We are planning to inspire the children with scientific experiments and visitors with scientific professions! We are very excited to see what the children know already and what they learn!

Thank you so much to Thorne council who are trying to make our park a much better place for the children in our community. Green Top were invited to go along and help with some planting, putting up bird boxes and fairy houses, as well as talking to the workers at the play area and painting some stones that they will hide around the park for other people to find!
It was honestly such a great experience this morning and such an honour to be invited.
We can’t wait for the grand opening now!
Please remember to bring all reading books back to school tomorrow. We use these as part of our lessons throughout the day so it is important that all children have their books with them.
What a bunch of characters we have had today! 🙂
Well done Crew Gerrard for winning the attendance – let’s see if we can do it again next week and more money to the Crew Kitty! 🙂
Here are the last 2 weeks community crew celebrations! We love these assemblies where we get to share so many great things about the children in year 1 and 2. Well done to all of you!
Class 7 worked super hard on the peer critique of their informal letters – there was some great collaboration going on guys! 🙂
We’ve been little DT superstars over the last couple of days! We have worked hard on gaining new skills, whilst working safely and hygienically!
Thank you so much to Albie’s grandad for coming in to talk to us about his allotment and how he plants and grows vegetables. He has kindly given both classes a strawberry plant, some cress and some peas. We can’t wait to watch them grow!
