For the first couple of days back, Class 10 have been researching their knowledge of polar bears by working collaboratively on building up their knowledge of these incredible creatures.

Class 10 then got their craft on and started making their very own polar bear decorations. These looked really great and will immerse our classroom!

No children were harmed in this polar bear encounter!

On our second day of Hook Week, we have continued to be creative and make decorations that we can then use for our room. We’ve made some really lovely polar bear hand prints.

What a great day Class 10 had celebrating Christmas yesterday, with their Christmas lunch and time in the snow dome!

What a treat it was for Year 3 and 4 to be able to go and watch the film Elf at the Savoy cinema. Thank you to the friends for helping organise this great morning out. We had that much fun we only managed to get one photo!

Take a look at our Roman photos from Thursday’s Presentation of Learning!
Don’t forget out Year 3/4 presentation of learning is on Thursday 7th December.
The children will share their learning and their website with you in a coffee afternoon style drop in between the times of 2pm – 3pm.
If you are attending, please arrive through the Ash Tree Road entrance at the hall. If your child has siblings in school, you will not be able to collect them until 3pm as normal so may want to arrive at the drop in a bit later.
Your child will only be in the hall if they have an adult present so if you are unable to attend but would like your child to share their learning with an adult of a friend, please arrange this with class teachers.
We look forward to seeing you soon!

In community Crew, we were able to celebrate the successes of those who participated in the dodgeball tournament last Friday. Again, we are really proud of how well they did and represented themselves.

If kits have not been returned yet, then please return them to me! 🙂
Below are some of the songs for our Year 3/4 nativity which you can use to practise at home!
Over the last couple of weeks the children have been working on sketching Roman soldiers, they have all worked really hard and I’m so proud of them. Here are a few examples of their work.

I would just like to give a massive shout out to our Year 3 and 4 pupils who represented Green Top in our Trust dodgeball tournament! What a super set of performances you put in! There were some really really tight games and I think it is fair to say that fun was had by all.
Most importantly, the children represented the school and themselves really well. Thank you to the adults who took our players to the tournament – it is really appreciated!
