Today, Class 7 were looking into what belonging means. This made us think of how we belong to a range of different places inside and outside of school. We also looked at religious symbols and what they mean, so we created a class symbol!

Here is our spelling blog based on the previous week of spellings. Practicing these will really help embed what has been taught! 🙂
Starting next week, year 2 PE will be on a Wednesday afternoon. Please send the children with their PE kits named and in a bag, with appropriate trainers or pumps. Thank you
Mrs Shaw and Mr Gerrard
On day 3, Class 7 learned about Martin Luther King jr and the impact he had on his community. We were inspired to write down the hopes and dreams we have for own community, for ourselves and those we care about!
On day 4, we dressed up as super heroes. We drew our heroes and we made the heroes that help us in our local community!
Here are the heroes of Class 7!
One of the children in my class has lost a red superhero coat. He last had it on Wednesday morning. Please would you check your child’s bag to make sure it has not been brought home by accident?
Many thanks

A huge well done to key stage 1 for a fabulous day. We had our first community crew meeting and we celebrated our fabulous stewards this week who help to keep our classrooms looking tidy!
We apologise again that the rain ruined our family learning but we will check the weather and hopefully rearrange soon!
