What an out of this world experience we had travelling through the universe and more closely to home in our solar system!

What an out of this world experience we had travelling through the universe and more closely to home in our solar system!
Tomorrow is going to be a very exciting day for the children in Key Stage 1.
Tomorrow we have a visitor in school. We will be visiting the Space Dome to find out all about space! The last time the Space Dome visited school the children absolutely loved it. It was lovely to see the awe and wonder on their faces! If you haven’t paid for the visitor yet please support us by paying £4 through your parent pay account to ensure we can continue to offer these experiences for the children.
Tomorrow all children in Key Stage 1 need to bring their PE kit and trainers to school as we will be practising our Sports Day events. This will replace Year 1 Thursday PE session so PE kits are needed on Wednesday only this week please.
Tomorrow is also the school disco. Children come to school in their uniform as normal but can bring some Disco clothes in their backpack. Children will change in their classes and will be taken to the hall by their teachers. Children can be collected form the normal home time doors at 3:45pm. Entry to the Disco is £2 but there will also be some sweets for sale for children who bring additional money.
Ice Pops! All children who have paid for ice pops today will receive their ice pop tomorrow. As we missed out today KS1 will be having ice pops on Wednesday AND Thursday.
As there is so much going on in school tomorrow if children could please bring any money for ice/pops disco in a bag/envelope with a written list of what the money is for we would greatly appreciate it e.g.
Child’s Name
Ice pop wed 50p
Ice pop thur 50p
Disco £2
Sweets £2
Please ensure they are brought in for the rest of the week just in case of any sports day practice.
Class 7 started the first steps of making their final product!
Year 1 and 2 are very excited for their next visitors who are coming into school. They will be coming into school next week and the children will be blown away by this experience. We are asking for £4 per child towards the cost of this fantastic experience. Please pay for your child to experience this through parentpay. Thanks
Just a reminder to bring in books so that they can be swapper tomorrow (Friday). We also have our extra PE session as well! 🙂
Before our adults arrived, we designed our rockets. Once the adults arrived, we then began creating them. I think they turned out pretty cool – you could say they were out of this world!
Thanks, as always, to those that could make it. We really do appreciate it and hope you had as much fun as we did!
Today, Class 7 have been creating their very own fact files on British astronaut Helen Sharman! We used a range of sources and helped each other to create some beautiful work!
