Children In Need

The children thoroughly enjoyed wearing spots to support Children In Need. Throughout the day the children completed some CIN themed activities and we discussed some of the ways the money we raised could help children around the world. We thought about the things we are grateful for and realised that not every child in the world has the same experiences as us. The children blew me away with their compassion and some of the children were able to tell me other ways to support people in need such as donating their old toys to charity shops or donating food to the food bank. Well Done Class 3, you always make me proud with how carefully you think about our class discussions. You are such thoughtful and caring children!

Super Swimmer!

A huge well done to Lara who has successfully completed the Duckling Swimming award stages 1, 2, 3 and 4! We are very proud of you Lara!

Odd Socks Day!

On Tuesday we wore odd socks to school to support Anti-Bullying. In our class circles we discussed how we want everyone to feel happy about coming to school. We discussed how our actions can effect how other people feel. We also discussed what we would do if we thought someone was feeling upset. We all felt that it was important to share the things we are worried about with someone else so they can hep us to feel happy again.
