TAG RUGBY 🏉

Today was our first attempt at tag rugby and it was great to see how well we have all improved our team work skills through crew and the children worked in unison to teach each other the rules of the game!

Well done guys – I can’t wait to see you all play after half term!

Thank you Corey!!

Class 13 have enjoyed some very yummy buns this week. Corey had kindly baked buns for the whole class at home as part of his homework! You put lots of effort in and they were absolutely scrumptious!!

Thank you Corey and well done!! 100hps

World Mental Health Day

Today class 13 have explored mental health and well-being. We have discussed the importance of speaking about feelings and listening to our friends when they need it. This afternoon we have made our own positive thought jars that we have filled with happy and inspirational words about each other so whenever we are feeling down we can remind ourselves of how special we are.  It was so lovely to see the children enjoy saying kind things to each other and appreciate their friendship! Remember to spend 5 minutes every day to make someone smile! Thank you to everyone who sent in jars for the activity – it will make a real difference to our class room!

Super home learning!

I have been blown away by the amount of homework Class 13 have completed so far this term and I have enjoyed listening to the stories children have shared about working with adults at home.

Isobel, Evan and Lee-Arna are all super proud as am I of their wands they have made. 50 house points each for your efforts! Well done ☺️

Forest school 🌳

Forest school for Year 5 has begun!

Last week all three crews enjoyed their first session outdoors using some of the equipment.

Just a reminder that children can come into school on a Thursday morning ready for forest school – wearing clothes suitable for outdoors. Children will need their uniform to change into after the session. Remember to bring a spare pair of shoes as it can get wet and muddy.
