It has been brought to our attention that there is currently an issue with parents accessing the links shared in our previous blog about the Homework Menu and Parent Overview for Autumn 24/25. We are looking into this and hope to have the matter resolved as quickly as possible. In the meantime, we will continue to grant access where requested when the links are clicked on but for now, please see screenshots below for the information being shared.
Thank you for your patience, LKS2 team x

This afternoon, Class 9 have been outside litter picking. We spent the morning talking about why it is important to look after our community and some of the things we can do to make it a better place to live.
On our first day back, Year 3 have been toasting marshmallows over the campfire as well as joining in with some campfire songs!
Please find links below to the Homework Menu for LKS2 as well as the parent overview for our Autumn expedition:

We look forward to sharing our learning with you further as the term goes on, and to seeing any homework that you get up to at home too!
Thank you for your ongoing support, the LKS2 team x
On Monday 2nd September, we will be taking year 3 and 4 children on an evacuation trip to our local Methodist Church as part of our new expedition. There is no expectation for children to dress up, however if they wish to they may. We will all be making a gas mask box, an identity label and a luggage label to take too.
The aim of the field work is for the children to experience something similar to what the children in WW2 did during their evacuation. We will leave school at 1pm with a return in time for 3pm pick up. We are hoping this work will engage the children into their new learning.
Here are some ideas for inspiration but please don’t feel you have to buy an outfit – see what you have in the trusty wardrobe!
