This week in nursery we have been exploring words that rhyme ‘Rhyming couplets!’ The children have been listening for words that sound the same such as ‘cup’ and ‘pup’ and ‘dog and log’ The children have had lots of fun creating silly soup. Here are some ideas you can try at home. Why not record them in your homework book to share with your friends.
Well done Bonnie ! Bonnie presented her homework to her friends today sharing how she had drawn and spoke about ordering the three bear’s bowls in size!
Poppy appeal items will be on sale all Thursday and Friday this week they will be brought round to classes by school councilors but can also be purchased at break and lunch times in class 12.
All items available are 50p from the box or any donation for a paper poppy.

Nursery had lots of fun squiggling away making marks to the songs they are learning for our celebration of learning! The children concentrated well as they explored the writing of circles,lines, wavey and zig zag lines. The children were so excited to share their work!
Congratulations to Reeva for being a great Lightbulb Leo this week! You worked so hard with your ideas and creativity. Well done!

The children worked hard in collaborative groups to talk about what kind of picture they would like to make and what shapes they would need.
A huge well done to Mya for being this week’s bucket filler! Mya helped her friends with their learning today and was so excited about her learning in phonics too!

The children have worked so hard this week with finding numbers around them, naming and exploring 2D Shapes, learning how to retell the ‘Three Little Pigs’ through song, role play and art. A well deserved treat for everyone!
