Yesterday, year 3 walked to Peel Hill to complete a draft sketch of the church. Big, cheesy grins all around despite the wind! I think we’ve got some young artists in the making- I look forward to seeing your 2nd and 3rd attempts class 9 and 10!

Today Year 3 and 4 were visited by Mayor Houlbrook. Our learning for this term is based around localities and where better to start than Thorne and Moorends. So we were delighted that the Mayor was willing to come in and discuss our local area and future developments as well as his role.
Thanks to the kitchen and lunchtime team for making our lunchtime so festive and lovely today
Today Oliver, enjoyed helping Mrs Fitz decorate her room.
The children were super excited to decorate the classroom this afternoon. They all did a fantastic job of getting it Christmas ready!!
Look at all our year 3 4 children who have already been busy checking out and returning their lending library books! I’m so impressed by you all, keep going to fill up your library cards!!
Amazing efforts by these children, keep working hard guys!
In crew circle this morning, we spent some time talking about anti-bullying week and how we can make sure everyone in our crew is happy.
It was great to see how many ideas the children came up with!
