Year 5 have just been offered an exciting opportunity for YourPE to lead our PE sessions. Therefore, until the October break, all children will now need their outdoor PE kits every FRIDAY. When we return in November, PE will revert back to THURSDAYS.
Y6 – Snaith School Open Evening
Crew Knowles – Expedition
In our physics lessons, we have looked at the movement of the Earth relative to the sun and also started to explore the movement of the moon. We acted out the movement to help us understand how the earth rotates whilst orbiting the sun, and at the same time the moon orbits the earth!

Class 12 – Reading lesson
I was very impressed with our lovely reading lesson today and the children have told me they enjoyed it too! We kick started with a gallery walk where the children had to build a vocabulary bank around a series of pictures. Then, using the text, they had to find vocabulary clues to match up and order pictures from our book so far. And what a great job they did!

Class 9 | Spelling and Handwriting
This afternoon, we have been working hard on our spelling and handwriting.

Class 7 Castle Work!
Wow! What can I say Class 7? You blew me away with your beautiful work on castles and your focus was tremendous. EVERYONE worked so hard and did a great job. Keep up the great work, guys!

Class 8 – Man of the match

Well done William on getting man of the match! William has also been doing some fantastic home learning and it is making a massive difference!
Well done William, keep it up superstar!
Class 8 dancing superstar

I just wanted to say a huge well done to Aurelia for doing so well in her dancing competition at the weekend. Aurelia was a little bit nervous while she was on stage but she showed true resilience and came back and did her best. We are all very proud of you Aurelia!
Class 8 expedition

Class 8 have learnt the main parts of a castle today. They read some information sheets, looked at diagrams and watched a video before applying it to a picture of a castle to create a labelled diagram. There were some really great examples today, well done!

year 2 PE

Year 2 have continued to practise their throwing and catching skills today, making it harder by standing on one leg or catching with one hand. The children love their PE lessons and we can see improvement already. Well done year 2
