XPOSE 2019

What an absolute privilege to be able to take these students and staff to the xpose conference today. They shared their views and experiences in their workshops ‘we are crew too’ and ‘why is Green Tops roof Green?’

If you’re on Twitter please see the #xpose2019 for all the coverage of a truly amazing day.

The Triangle Dance

In our computing theme lesson last week, Class 11 have learnt all about algorithms and debugging. They have done this through learning the triangle dance, and then worked in groups to write their own algorithm. After that, they then swapped algorithms with another group to see how they could each be improved and debugged.

It was fab to see everyone so involved and motivated!

Family Learning!

What a great afternoon on our most recent family learning!

Children and parents worked hard to create their own chocolate poems and also their own chocolate packaging!

Thank you so much to parents, grandparents for your continued support.

Nursery Forest School

Nursery had lots of fun at their second forest school session yesterday. The children creatively made dream dolls after a story under the trees and made smores after working together to make a fire! Mrs Robertson praised our listening skills and our ability to stay safe.

Tea party

Year 1 have had a busy afternoon making tiger masks and having a tea party to hook into our new class text The Tiger Who Came To Tea. The children have had a great time and we even got slightly distracted by the very cute ducklings that were running around outside.

A huge thank you to all the parents that donated buns or biscuits for our tea party. Your help is hugely appreciated.

Thank you

Out of school achievements in F2 and KS1

Well done to everyone who brought their certificates, medals and trophies in today to share in our assembly.  We always love to hear about the activities and clubs you go to and we are so proud to celebrate with you.  This week we had dancers, swimmers and football players.  Well done to you all!

It was great to hear from the boys football coach about their amazing and much improved football skills.  Congratulations on coming runners up in your tournament at the weekend.  You should be very proud of coming 2nd out of 12 teams.   Keep up the hard work I am sure you will do so well when the season starts.
