A busy weekend in Class 11

From left to right and top to bottom: Oliver’s successful grading, Alexsis’ fantastic maths home learning (practising column method at home is super for year 4’s learning), Grace and Ava’s awards for dancing at the theatre! Well done to all 4 of you!

The Bear 🐻

Part two of our Christmas book hook was for the children to predict what the front cover of the book will look like now that they have only the title of the story.

I was blown away by the logical predictions that the children came up with and their reasons behind them. We were also lucky enough to have Miss Salter in with us for part of the lesson and she too couldn’t believe the amazing ideas that Class 7 had just from knowing the title. She was very impressed guys!!

I have to say, Class 7’s finished book covers are actually better than the actual front cover! You’re all superstars 🌟

Anti-bullying week

We discussed anti-bullying week in class 12 and spoke about what it meant to all in class, how it can affect children, how children can get help and where from.

We also shared a new story called Red – A crayon’s story. The children loved hearing it and were excited to talk about it. I have set up a competition for class 12 to comment what they think the message in the story is to those who read it. Make sure you comment your ideas below!
