We are so sorry to announce that we have had to postpone our year 1 and 2 sports day this afternoon due to the wet weather. We really didn’t want to do this and can only apologise for any inconvenience caused but we feel that the field is too wet and we are solely thinking of the children’s safety.
We will let you know the new date ASAP. Thank you for understanding. Key stage 1 team.
A huge congratulations to our amazing Year 4 footballers who took part in the Snaith Cluster Schools Football Tournament this week!
We were proud to have two Green Top teams representing our school — and both teams gave it their absolute all. Their hard work, teamwork, and determination really paid off, as both Green Top 1 and Green Top 2 reached the finals in their respective groups.
Green Top 1 showed incredible resilience and skill, battling through to a nail-biting final that ended in a penalty shootout. The team held their nerve and came out victorious — well done on your win!
Green Top 2 also put in a fantastic performance, narrowly missing out on the top spot in a very close final. Your efforts, attitude, and sportsmanship were outstanding, and you should be very proud of yourselves.
It was a brilliant evening full of energy, excitement, and positive spirit. A great time was had by all, and the experience was one to remember for every player involved. Thank you to everyone who supported and cheered the teams on — and a special thank you to Mr Overson for supporting this event and making it possible.
Well done, Green Top Year 4 — you did us proud!
