Reading with Frankie

Hi Everyone!

Here I am at Frankie’s enjoying my new Book of the Month, The Fantastic Forest.

Loving the slippers Frankie!

Did you know research has shown that kids who are read one book a day will hear about 290,000 more words by age 5 than those who don’t regularly read books with a parent or caregiver?

See you soon

Juicy xx

Class 5 know their geography!

Well done class 5 for using your geographical vocabulary when describing a place for your team to guess.  I love how many people could remember whether a place was in Thorne, Doncaster or from further away.

Maths fun with skittles 🌈

Today in maths we enjoyed using skittles to find an amount of the different colours and we wrote these as fractions. Using our knowledge we then converted them into percentages and decimals. Everyone did a fab job and enjoyed tasting the rainbow! Well done everyone 50hps! 🌈
