Yesterday morning, we had a very lovely visit from Year 2. I was so proud of my crew for showing lots of respect and compassion and helping the children create some number posters for this weeks competition!
We really hoped Crew Stone/Shaw enjoyed joining us – we loved having you!
Crew Walton had fun today creating our very own Maths related board games!
Year 5 created some Maths activities to use with Year 2 yesterday…Crew Walton really enjoyed working with Crew Gerrard…we hope they felt the same!
Well done to our fabulous key stage 1 children this week! Loads of certificates handed out and lots of smiles! Well done!
Today, to celebrate National Story week, we enjoyed listening to Charlotte (our Crew Councillor) reading our story, The Wild Robot. Of course, McKenzie was on standby to help out and check that everyone was listening carefully! Well done 🙂 x
Thank you to Gabby who came down to our class this week to read a story. She did a fantastic job and showed great courage to read the book in front of them. It was also great to see Daniel volunteer to read a book as well. I was so pleased to see how much confidence you showed in your reading. Well done to the both of you!
Thank you to Geoff for coming in today to practise our crew song. The children showed so much enthusiasm with their singing!
A big thank you to Miss Knowles’ crew for coming and doing some maths-related orienteering with the Year 3’s. They were all amazing with the children and I know our crew really enjoyed the activity!
What a lovely Crew session we have had today! Class 7 were lucky to have some Year 5 maths teachers help them learn in a fun way! We certainly enjoyed it. Massive thanks to Class 14 for all your teaching 🙂
