Nursery first day back for our early starters…

Wow! What a wonderful first day back we have had! I am so proud of how brilliantly the children came in to nursery this morning and their positive attitude when approaching team building activities. To get to know each other a little better, we drew around each others bodies and talked about what we looked like, counted fingers and toes and our personality traits.

The children have all worked so hard in their play, all helped with tidying our nursery and been an absolute delight to be with.

I can’t wait to have more adventures with you all tomorrow and hope you can all join us for our ‘Stay and Play’ session in the morning at 9.30-10.30.

Have a lovely evening with your families.

Mrs Hay 🙂

EYFS – Community Crew

This morning the children have enjoyed our community crew day starting with a visit from Pastor Kevin. The children had a lovely session, singing songs, dancing, story telling and activities based on the story David and Goliath. Thank you Pastor Kevin for spending time with us this morning.

Thank you!

Today is my last day at Green Top and I can’t believe how fast this year has gone by. Thank you so much for my beautiful bouquet of flowers and gifts, it is so kind of you all. I love them!

Being one of the nursery teachers this year has been an absolute joy and a blessing to spend time with such clever, funny, brave, kind and beautiful children. Thank you for the happy days together and wonderful memories. I am sure that they will continue to make fantastic progress next year and the Reception teachers will love them too.

Wishing you a relaxing summer holiday, thank you again,

Lots of love, Mrs Kendrew-Jones x

EYFS Celebration of Learning

We would like to invite all our parents to our celebration of learning next Wednesday the 6th July at 1:00pm. We invite you to join in with our beach day celebration as we finish not only a term of discovering ‘what happens where the sea meets the shore?’ but a year of fantastic learning and growing together.

We ask that all parents arrive at nursery gate for 1pm and enter KS2 field through the small gate from nursery garden. The children will welcome you by kicking off our celebration with a sea side sing along. We will then take part in our time capsule ceremony followed by an afternoon of seaside fun! We ask that following our singing adults are ready to collect their children to take over to the time capsule marked out area. Children will be handed over safely by their adults at this point so that you can enjoy the afternoon together.

We have so much to look forward to including donkey rides, Mr Dan, sand play, photo fun cut outs and ice cream and fish and chips. (Watch this space for prices if you wish to enjoy food and treats in the afternoon!)

If you would like to make a donation towards the donkey rides you can donate in the usual way on parent pay. Thank you in advance.
